“Our Old Galt series explores some of the most iconic areas of our scenic downtown from unique vantage points. River Flats takes a peek at the Park Hill Bridge from a point that, if you grew up here, most of us have explored as kids - down at the river’s edge, perhaps with a frozen lemonade from LA Franks and our friends by our side. This particular view was adopted from a photograph special to me, which is part of a collection of engagement photos taken by Gold House Studios. I hoped that this angle would be one to spark joy and memories for many, capturing views of the Grand from the river flats, childhood afternoons of cold ice cream cones, and a place that is special for many and another beloved Galt destination, The Cambridge Mill.”
